How to make a clip from movie using Windows Live Movie Maker

1. Go to start menu, search Windows Live Movie Maker in the search box below. (If you don't have it, then download it here)
2. After Windows movie maker opens, click on Add Videos and Photos tab on the top menu.

3. Import or open the movie or video which you want to use for making a short clip.
4. Now scroll to the scene which you will be cutting or splitting to be a short clip.
5. After you have selected the scene, drag the big bar few minutes or seconds behind the actual starting point of the scene.
6. Once you know that the scene of your choice is about to come press right click of your mouse.
7. A drag down menu will appear, in this click Set Start Point.

8. Now click play button again, and let the scene go until your scene's end is coming. When the end comes press right click again and select Set end point from the drop down menu.

9. The whole scene will become short now and you'll see your created clip on the board.
10. Play the video to review the output, if it's fine then you're ready to save it.
11. Go to the menu, select Save Movie.
12. Click on the option which fits yours needs or preferably choose For High Definition.

13. Click save after defining it a name.
14. Windows Live movie maker will now initiate the procedure to save the clip into a video.
15. After the process completes, you cna either play it or choose to open in the saved folder, or simply close the dialogue box.
