iOS 7 to be released on September 18

Apple is having its biggest event in its headquarters in Cupertino after the June WWDC 2013, in the event Apple has said that users will be having their iOs 7 downloads on Wednesday, 18 September.

There were many rumors that the tech giant might release the iOs update on Tuesday, 10 September but it just announced the date for its release which has brought more anticipation to the users as well as the developers.


"Soon, we're going to witness an event really almost unprecedented in our industry, when virtually overnight hundreds of millions of people download iOS 7," Apple's Senior VP of Software Engineering Craig Federighi said on stage during the event.

iOS 7 is available only for the iPhone 4 and later, the iPad 2 and later, the iPad Mini, and the fifth generation of the iPod Touch.

There are over two hundred new features in iOS 7, including Control Center, better multitasking, improved notifications, iTunes Radio and of course a brand new flattened interface. Check out the features of iOs 7 here.
