Review: iRadio UK

I'm a radio lover and love listening to radio channel differing geographically. This time I'm reviewing the iPhone and iPad app iRadio UK. The app is free and can be downloaded within no time and giving you access to many popular radio channels of United Kingdom.

iRadio is easy to navigate in all the ways. The menu can be browsed by sliding towards right or touching the three horizontal lines on top left. You can search for channels or browse the pre-saved list of channels in the app by going to the Countries, News, Music or Sports.

The best thing I like about iRadio is that you can favorite any channel by tapping the heart button over the top right. And people who love driving will love the feature of turning the navigation of this app into minimalist and easily accessible display by just tapping the small car button on top.

Unlike other radio apps in the Apple's App Store, iRadio works even when your iPhone or iPad is locked, you can just multitask while listening to your favorite channel, who would not want that. I do!!! An update made to the iRadio app recently enables the listeners to record the channel playing free of cost. Earlier this feature was only available to purchased app members.

Here are few features I might not have talked about:

- Send email to the station. 

- Create favorites list with the stations that you love. 

- Reorder your Favorite Stations list, 

bringing to the top the ones you love the most. 

- Search the name of an artist or song and iRadio UK gives you a list of radio stations that are broadcasting live any time you make a selection. Our Super Search unique feature is packed with song, title, artist and album art preview in lists before you select any radio station. . 

- Listen to the next and previous station from your filtered selections or favorites, on the player or lock screen (you can control the app from the lock screen). 

- Drive safe using car mode. 

- Watch the name of the artist, song and artwork on the player or lock screen. 

- A list with the top 50 stations in the world is here for you. 

- Live data counter for Wi-Fi and 3G networks, with reset counter feature. 

- Amazing HD design graphics. 

- Share iRadio UK player info via Social Media. 

- Real Background play: Manage audio playback (play, stop, volume) form task bar of device, without the need to open the app. 

- Internal Timer system to close app on a given time. 

- Update stations list. 

- Send email to the station. 

- Call the station. 

- Watch the web page of the station.
